In your web browser, you can change the way you unlock Dashlane at any time. Your unlock settings are specific to your device or browser, so changing this option on one device doesn't change it on any other device.
On mobile or in the Dashlane macOS app, you can turn face or fingerprint unlock on or off.
In your web browser, this option is only available for accounts protected by a Master Password. On mobile and in the macOS app, all Dashlane accounts have this option.

Change your unlock method in your web browser
If you want to change how you unlock Dashlane with Biometric unlock, turn off the option and then turn it back on with the new method. For example, if you get a new security key, turn off biometric unlock for your old key and then turn it back on for the new one.
