Log in to Dashlane in your computer browser

If you're using Dashlane in your computer browser, you can log in directly on the Dashlane login page.

You can use the login page in the browser on your phone or tablet as well, but we recommend using the Dashlane mobile app instead. You can't log in to the Dashlane extension on phones and tablets.

Log in through the Dashlane extension

You can only use the Dashlane extension on a computer—not on mobile devices like phones and tablets.

On your computer, you can also log in through the Dashlane extension by selecting the orange Dashlane D icon in your browser toolbar and then Log in. If you don't see the Dashlane D, you may need to install the extension or pin it to your toolbar.

Install and pin the Dashlane extension

1. Enter your login email address in the extension pop-up or on the Dashlane login page and select Next.
2. If you're using Dashlane for the first time on this device or have 2-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, you'll be asked to enter a verification code sent by email or a 2FA token. Enter the code or token.

3. Enter your Master Password and select Log in.

If the Dashlane D is green, you're already logged in. You can select the D icon to open the extension and then select Open the web app to open Dashlane in your browser.

Log in to the Dashlane macOS app

To log in to the Dashlane macOS app, you need to install the Dashlane extension. You can also pin the extension to your toolbar so that it stays visible. After installing the extension, you can log in through the extension pop-up.

Install and pin the extension

1. Select the light gray Dashlane D extension icon and then select Open the app.
2. In the extension or the pop-up that opens, select Log in.
3. Enter your login email address and select Next.
4. If you're using Dashlane for the first time on this device or have 2-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, you'll be asked to enter a verification code sent by email or a 2FA token. Enter the code or token.

5. Enter your Master Password and select Log in.

If the D icon is dark gray or dark blue, you're already logged in. Select the D icon to open the Dashlane extension. You can then select Open the app to open the macOS app.

Log in to Dashlane on your Android device

1. Download the Android app from Google Play
2. Find and open the Dashlane app on your Android device.
3. Enter your login email address and select Continue. If you're using Dashlane for the first time on this device or have 2-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, you'll be asked to enter a verification code sent by email or a 2FA token. Enter the code or token.

4. Enter your Master Password and select Log in.

Note: You can't use the Dashlane extension on a mobile device or tablet—only on your computer.

Log in to Dashlane on your iOS (Apple) device

1. Download the iOS (Apple) app from the Apple App Store
2. Find and open the Dashlane app on your iOS (Apple) device.
3. Enter your login email address and select Next. If you're using Dashlane for the first time on this device or have 2-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, you'll be asked to enter a verification code sent by email or a 2FA token. Enter the code or token.

4. Enter your Master Password and select Next.
