You can transfer 2-factor authentication (2FA) tokens from your Dashlane Authenticator app to another authenticator using a PDF file. The PDF file contains a QR code for each of your 2FA tokens. You'll scan each of the QR codes with your new authenticator app to import your tokens.
Important:
- We created this process for customers who use the Dashlane Authenticator but not the main Dashlane app. We discontinued the Dashlane Authenticator on May 13, 2024.
- You can still use all the features of the main Dashlane app to store and protect your data. The Dashlane Authenticator was a separate app used only for 2FA.
- You can still use the main Dashlane app to protect logins stored in your Dashlane account with 2FA. If you previously used the Dashlane Authenticator and the main Dashlane app on the same device to protect your logins with 2FA, you don't need to transfer your 2FA tokens.
