You can add logins one at a time directly in any Dashlane app. Make sure to enter the username, password, and website for the login. Dashlane needs all three of these items to help you log in.
You can either use Dashlane to create the login and use that information when you create an account on a website or create the login and then add the information to Dashlane.

Add logins directly in the web app
- In the web app, select Logins in the side menu. Then select + Add new.
- Enter your login info. Make sure to enter the Username, Password and Website for the login. Dashlane needs all three of these items to help you log in.
To have Dashlane create a strong password automatically, select the Generate icon, which is shown as a speech bubble. If you don't want to use the generated password, enter any password you want.
- You also have these options:
- Add an Item name, which you'll see in your list of logins in Dashlane.
- Add a Note, which can include keywords to help you find the login when searching in Dashlane. You can also include extra info for the login, like a PIN code or the answers to security questions.
- Create Collections to help organize your logins in your vault. You can create as many Collections as you need and add your logins to multiple Collections.

- Select Save.
From the extension, you can select the plus (+) icon to go to the web app and add a login.
Add logins directly in the Android app
- From the Home screen, select + Add new. Then select Logins.
- Choose from a list of popular websites and apps. If you don't see the website or app you want, select Add login.
- On the next page, enter your login info. Make sure to enter your Username, Password and the Website for the login.

- Turn 2-factor authentication (2FA) on or off for logins that need an added layer of protection, like bank accounts.
- Add an Item name, which you'll see in your list of logins in Dashlane.

- Create Collections to help organize your logins in your vault. You can create as many Collections as you need and add your logins to multiple Collections.

- Select the checkmark icon to save your login.
Add logins directly in the iPhone app
- On the Home screen, select the plus (+) icon in the upper right corner.
- Select Add login from the menu.
- Enter the web address for the website or choose one of the sites represented by icons.
- On the Add a login screen, select the Password Generator icon, shown as a speech bubble, which generates a strong, unique password. You can customize the generated password as needed.
- Select Use this password.
- If you want, you can create Collections to help organize your logins in your vault. You can create as many Collections as you need and add your logins to multiple Collections.
Organize your logins with Collections - Select Save in the upper-right corner. Dashlane adds the new login to your vault.
