How to import from RoboForm
Please make sure that you are running RoboForm 8 or later before exporting your data. If a prior version is installed on your computer, click here to download the most recent version of RoboForm then install it and follow the steps below.
On Windows or macOS, click the RoboForm icon in your taskbar (on Windows) or menu bar (on macOS) and select Options… in the menu.
Alternatively, open the RoboForm Editor and select RoboForm > Options… from the main window.
Then, go to the Account & Data tab.
Next, in the Import and Export section, click Export.
In the window, click on the Format drop-down menu and select CSV file there.
On the same window, either leave the current location — your Documents folder — or select your Desktop folder in order to find the file easily, later on.
Select which data to export in the upper section of the window, and click Export.
Now click Open containing folder and make sure that you see the file that has just been exported.
On Windows, select File > Import Passwords > RoboForm in the menu bar at the top of the window.
On macOS, select File > Import > RoboForm in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click Next, select the file that has been exported by RoboForm and click Open.
Finally, review the passwords and click Import to import them into your Dashlane account.
Important: do not forget to delete the exported CSV file from your hard drive when you are done. The CSV file contains your data in clear text and should not be stored on your hard drive.
If Dashlane does not find anything to import
Please remove all RoboForm applications from your computer and click here to download and install the latest version of RoboForm.
Then follow the steps above. Dashlane should now import your passwords.
