Add your logins and passwords to Dashlane and make it quick and easy to sign in to all your online accounts.
Dashlane securely saves your logins in one place, giving you access anywhere you go. All your data is encrypted with your Master Password. Only you know your Master Password, so no one—not even Dashlane—has access to your information.
And as well as storing all your logins and passwords, you can securely store other kinds of data, such as notes, IDs, or credit cards.

Logins and passwords
When you select Passwords in the bar at the top of your credentials, this is what you will see.
Tap on the green plus sign (+) at the bottom right to add a new login.
Then, choose a website from the list of your most visited websites, or enter a new website and click Next.
At this point, you should fill out the URL, login and password fields. To help you create a strong password, you can always tap on Generate and Dashlane will automatically generate a password for you.
There are also some optional information that you can add, including a name, a category that will allow you to find this password more easily, and whether you want Dashlane to automatically log you in or not. Finally, you can add a note. When you are done, tap on the checkmark at the top right of the screen.
This is what your login will look like when you see it in the Passwords section of the app. You can change or add any information by tapping on the pencil at the top right of the screen. Tap the eye icon to show your password or on the Copy button to copy your password. You can also go directly to the site by tapping on the Log in button.
Secure Notes
Do you want to store other passwords and data that aren't for websites? You can do this in the Secure Notes section, where you can store:
- Membership cards
- Wi-Fi passwords

- Any other kind of data that you want to store safely and have access to wherever you are
How to add a Secure Note
First, select Secure Notes in the bar at the top of your credentials, then tap the plus + icon to create a new Secure Note.
You can add a title to your secure note, such as "WiFi password", and your note's content.
At the top of each note, you will see the options to attach an image, lock the note with your Master Password, share the note, and under the three-dot menu to assign a color or category to your note, or else delete the note.
For instructions on attaching images to your notes, see How to Use Secure File Storage.
To protect your secure note with your Master Password, click on the lock icon. This means that you will need to enter your Master Password to see the content of this secure note, even if you are logged in to the app. This can provide an extra layer of security for your most sensitive notes.
Note that you cannot share secure notes with attachments.
Finally, you can add a category or color to your secure note so that you can easily find it in your list of secure notes.
