Members of Dashlane Starter, Team, and Business plans who use single sign-on (SSO) can't change their contact email address. SSO means you use a single login application to access Dashlane and other work accounts. If you don't know whether you use SSO, ask your manager or plan admin.
When you first create an account, we automatically use your login email address as your contact email. You can change your contact email address anytime from the Dashlane web app but not the Android or iOS (Apple) mobile apps.
When you change your contact email address, you continue to log in to Dashlane using your original login email address, which we also call your Dashlane ID.
Note: For security reasons, you can't change your login email address. If you want to use a different email address to log in to Dashlane, you can create a new account and move your existing data and subscription to that account.

Change your contact email address in the web app
Important: Make sure you have access to the inbox for your contact email address. Based on your security settings, Dashlane sends verification codes to that address. These codes are used to check your identity when you change your Master Password, add new devices to Dashlane, or use your account recovery key.
- In the My account menu of the web app, select Settings and then Account summary.
- Select Change in the Contact email section.
- Enter your new contact email address and select Confirm change.
- If asked, enter your Master Password and select Confirm change.
