About codes and tokens
When you log in, Dashlane sends a verification code to the email address you used to create the Dashlane account. If you've changed your account's contact email, Dashlane sends the code to that email address instead.
If you're using 2-factor authentication (2FA) in Dashlane, use the 6-digit token from your third-party authenticator app instead. This app, such as Dashlane Authenticator or Authy, is likely installed on your smartphone.
If you're a member of a Starter, Team, or Business plan and using 2FA, you can also contact your Dashlane admin to have them generate backup 2FA recovery codes for you.
How admins generate 2FA recovery codes
Important: If you try to log in to your Dashlane account too many times using an invalid code, invalid 6-digit token, or the wrong Master Password, Dashlane will block your account for security reasons. If your account is blocked, contact Customer Support.
