Dashlane stopped working in my browser after Windows 10 upgrade

Dashlane does and should work very nicely on Windows 10! If you recently upgraded to Windows 10 from an earlier version and Dashlane immediately stopped working, please follow the quick guidelines below!

Dashlane and Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge is a new internet browser introduced with Windows 10 on both desktop and mobile versions. When upgrading from an earlier version of Windows to Windows 10, Microsoft Edge will automatically become your default browser. Unfortunately, even though Microsoft Edge now supports extensions, Dashlane is currently incompatible with this browser, and it could explain why Dashlane does not work for you anymore. Please note that we are currently working on a solution for Edge.

Here is how to change the default browser on Windows 10:

  1. Click the Windows Start menu
  2. Then go to Settings
  3. Then choose the first category called System
  4. Lastly, go for the second to last category: Default apps
  5. There, scroll down to Web browser, click on it, and pick a browser that works with Dashlane (Google Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer).

If you've followed the above instructions and made sure you're not inadvertently using Microsoft Edge, then Dashlane should work for you!
