Under the Users tab of the Admin Console, admins can view and edit the settings of all of the users on their Dashlane Business plan.
Onboarding new users
To have a clearer view of the activity of your team, Dashlane Business enables you to see how many invited members of your team have already joined your plan.
Want to add more team members? Just click on the dark green Add users button and a pop-up will appear.

Managing all users
In this area of the Admin Console, you can monitor each member on your plan, including their security score, last login, and admin rights.
With the search bar, you can quickly find a member of your team at any time. Also, you can use the filters to sort through members by: Active users, Pending invites or Revoked Users.
Monitoring security scores
What about each member's security score? To learn more about each team member's overall password security strength, check their current security score (located in the Security Score column):
- A green shield indicates strong overall password security
- An orange shield indicates fairly strong overall password security
- A red shield indicates weak password security
Note that your company's Security Score is solely based on passwords added to your Business space, and not on passwords added to Personal spaces. See here for more information.
Types of members & how to add an admin
You can allocate different level of rights to the members of your team. By clicking on the three dots to the right of every member, you can change that user's rights from a member to an admin, and vice versa. But keep in mind:
- Members can only access and share the passwords that other users share with them, but cannot add or remove other members to the plan via the Admin Console.
- Admins have the same rights as members, but will also have access to the Admin Console, where they have the ability to add or remove other members to the account, change members to admin, and manage billing information.
- A billing contact can also edit the plan's payment information via the Account Summary tab of the Admin Console. A billing contact however, won't have access to the other tabs and cannot add or remove other members to the account without admin rights. There can only be one billing contact per Dashlane Business plan.
We highly recommend setting at least two users as admins, just in case one admin leaves the company. A Dashlane Business plan can have an unlimited number of admins.
To edit the billing contact, go to the Account Summary tab and click on Edit next to Billing contact.
Checking the status of an invite
The Users tab allows you to see the status of your pending invites to new users:
- If your invite is still pending, you can resend it by hovering on the contact email, clicking Edit, then selecting Resend invite.
- If the user already accepted the invite, you will see their last update time in Last Login column.
Revoking access to Dashlane Business
If you are an admin, you can revoke team members from your Dashlane Business plan at any time. To do so, hover over the 3 horizontal dots next to the member's email address, then click Edit. Next a pop-up box will appear, from which you can simply select Revoke user.
- If the member had already joined your Business plan, he will still show on the list once revoked as a greyed-out user. This allows you to quickly reactivate this user should you one day need him back on your account.
- If the user still had a pending invitation to join your Business plan, he will completely disappear from the list once revoked.
- If the user still had a pending invitation to join your Business plan but had clicked on the email link to join your plan, he will be considered as a member and behave like one once revoked.
- If the user is an admin, you will first have to make them a Member, then revoke them from the plan. If they are the Billing contact, you will first have to replace them with another before you will be able to revoke them from the plan.
Users that were revoked and show as greyed-out users on the Users tab can be quickly reactivated by clicking on Reactivate next to their email address.
Changing your profile pictures
For a member to change their profile picture on Dashlane Business, they will need to go on Gravatar, create or log in to your account, and go to the Manage Gravatars page. There, add their email account connected to Dashlane Business, and then select the picture they would like to appear on their account.
