Manage Dashlane subscription and billing for other types of plans

Change your Dashlane account name
To change the account name of your Dashlane plan, select Edit company name and enter the name you want to change it to. You can change your account name as many times as you want. However, you can't choose a name that's already been taken by another professional plan.
Once you change your company name, don't forget to save it.
Buy more seats for your plan
If you want to add seats to your plan, select Add seats and select the amount of seats you want to add. Seats are billed at a prorated cost if added during the year between renewal dates. All of the seats on your plan—occupied or not—will renew on your next renewal date. The total cost for the additional seats appears on the billing screen before you make your purchase.
If you have a Starter or Standard plan, when you add seats you'll be prompted to upgrade to a Business plan.

If you have a Starter or Standard plan, you can't remove seats from your plan. To be able to add and remove seats, you can upgrade to a Business plan or a Business Plus plan if you have 100 or more employees.
Change your billing information
You can only choose one billing contact for your plan. To change your billing contact, select Edit billing contact.
Then select a new billing contact from the pop-up screen. Can't find the billing contact you're looking for? Use the search bar to find them. Once you find your new billing contact, select Confirm.
To edit your payment data, select Update next to your credit card number, fill out the payment method form that opens, and then select Save.
Tip: If you're having trouble updating your payment method, make sure you've turned off your VPN if you're using one.
Manage invoices
To edit and download the invoices for your Dashlane plan, go to the Account menu, and then Account summary. To view or customize your previous invoices, select Download in the Billing history section. To view your upcoming invoice in a downloadable PDF format, add the Billing contact and select Download invoice.
The first page shows a summary of all your past invoices. Also in the PDF are individual invoices for each renewal or purchase of seats made to your plan, on separate pages.
Understand taxes on your invoice
Any taxes that Dashlane collects from you are listed on your invoice. That amount depends on many factors, including your address, country, plan, and time of purchase.
Each country or region charges a different tax rate. That's why the prices displayed on dashlane.com don’t include sales tax, Value-Added Tax (VAT), or Goods and Services Tax (GST).
United States sales tax
Products and services sold by Dashlane to customers in the United States may be subject to state and local sales tax.
Calculate your state and local tax rate
If your organization is exempt from sales tax in your state:
- Make sure your Dashlane account name matches the name of your organization.
Change your Dashlane account name - Contact Dashlane through the Admin Console or the chatbot and have your signed tax exemption certificate and state-issued tax ID number available.

EU and UK Value-Added tax (VAT)
Products and services sold by Dashlane to customers in the EU and UK may be subject to Value-Added Tax, known as VAT.
If you want a reverse charge applied to your invoice, so you're not charged VAT, go to the Admin Console, Account, Account Summary, and enter your VAT number in the Billing Information section. You can also enter it on the checkout page in the Your payment details section.
Upgrade your plan
You can upgrade your plan in the middle of your billing period. When you upgrade, you keep any data you've saved in your Dashlane account.
- Select Upgrade to Business. You are redirected to the plans page.
- Select the payment method available to you.
If you choose invoice, you'll be guided to our Support team to request a purchase order. This is a manual process that takes 2-4 business days.
If you choose to pay with a credit card, select Confirm and Pay. Your plan is automatically upgraded.
A message appears to tell you that your plan has been upgraded.
If your organization has 100 employees or more, you can also upgrade to the Business Plus plan.
Dashlane Business Plus offers all the features in the Business plan and includes exclusive access to Credential Risk Detection and Slack Nudges.
