In order to begin using a business plan at Dashlane, you can start a free 14-day trial via our website, or else contact our sales team.
Start a 14-day trial
If you are looking to start your plan, you can begin a free 14-day trial for up to 500 employees.
To do that, go to our trial page and select the plan you'd like to try, either Dashlane Business or Dashlane Team. Please note that upgrading or downgrading between different plans is currently not supported, which means that once you sign up for a plan, you will not be able to upgrade or downgrade to the other with the same account. Next, fill out the trial form where you will fill in a few details about you and your company. There, note that the "Company name" is the name of your company as it will appear on the company Space in the app. It can be modified on the Admin Console later.
Once you've completed the form, you will be directed to verify the email address you provided in an email that will be sent to you by Dashlane. Please make sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive the email right away. Please note that the trial cannot start until you verify your email address.
Once you have clicked on Verify now you will be directed to create your admin account. This will officially start your business plan trial period. A welcome email will verify the beginning of your trial.
From here, you will be taken to the Admin Console, where you can invite others to join your plan.
Please note that the link inviting you to start your Dashlane business plan and Master Password creation is only valid once. If you are experiencing issues completing the account creation process, please continue to the Dashlane app, enter the email address you started your trial with and complete the process with a new Master Password. You could then access the Admin Console and continue the onboarding process.
Buy seats on the website
If you think that you are ready to create a business plan and would like to skip the trial, another way to start is to buy seats directly on the website.
To do that, please fill out the form on this page. First choose the plan that you want to purchase, either Dashlane Business or Dashlane Team. Please note that upgrading or downgrading between different plans is not currently supported, which means that once you sign up for a plan you will not be able to upgrade or downgrade to the other plan with the same account. Next, enter your account information, such as your company's name and the email address that will be associated with the admin's account, the number of seats you would like to purchase (including the admin), and your payment information. Please note that a minimum purchase of 2 seats is required in order to start a business plan.
You may encounter an error during the purchase process if you are already a part of a different Dashlane business plan or trial. To fix this, please ask the admin of that plan to remove you or contact our Support team.
Getting started with your business plan
Once you have created your account, the next steps will help you make sure your Dashlane account is complete, and has everything you need to start using it with ease and convenience.
In case the installation process did not go as expected when downloading Dashlane to your computer during your onboarding process, you can either go to our website to download Dashlane straight to your computer, or get more information on how to install Dashlane on your favorite browsers in this article: Getting started with the Dashlane extension.
Once the Dashlane extension has successfully been installed in your browser, you should be automatically prompted to create your Dashlane account.
Next, when your account is created, Dashlane will walk you through a quick step to add your first password to your account. Feel free to also have a look at this article to help you getting started with Dashlane.
