The Dashlane Browser on iOS
Dashlane has multiple features which allow you to autofill your data rather than typing it. As well as our Safari and Chrome extension for iOS, the integrated Dashlane Browser automatically fills forms and logs you in as soon as you arrive on any website.
How to access your sites and log in automatically
Open the app, go to the Tools section and and tap on Dashlane Browser.
Here, you'll need to put the URL for your site in the browser's address bar. To do this, tap and hold down in the address bar at the top of the screen. Then, Select All and start typing in your website. Alternatively, you can tap on the X at the right of the URL to clear the field.
If you already have a credential saved for the website you are trying to access, the site’s name will appear just under the address bar as you type. Type on the suggestion to go straight to your site. If no suggestion appears, you can type in the whole URL for your site and tap on Go at the bottom right of the keyboard.
You will then access your website.
If Dashlane does not automatically fill the login and password fields with your information, look at the little impalas at the right of those fields:
- If they are grey, it means that Dashlane has not yet stored any data for this website. You will need to enter your username and password manually.
- If they are blue, it means that Dashlane already has your data stored and is ready to log you in. Just tap in one of the fields and choose the login you want to use from the window that appears at the bottom of the screen. Dashlane will then automatically fill the fields with your login and password and log you in. If you do not want to use one of the registered accounts, tap the Abc button; you will then be able to manually type in your username and password.

In order to use the Dashlane browser for automatic login when you go to websites directly from passwords in your Dashlane app, go to Dashlane General settings:
How to auto-fill forms online
You can automatically fill in most forms with Dashlane, meaning that you won't need to type in all your details ever again! When you sign up for something, for instance a website, you usually have to fill out a registration form with all your info. If there are blue impalas in a field, it means that Dashlane has your info and can fill out the form for you.
Tap in one of the fields and you will see a window pop up at the bottom of the screen.
After you have tapped in one of the fields, you will see the data that Dashlane can autofill for you. Choose which information you want to use and Dashlane will fill the fields for you with the details already saved into Dashlane!

How to generate a strong password for a login
When you sign up for something online, you normally need to choose a password. You can use Dashlane to generate a strong password that you can then store in Dashlane so that you don't even need to remember it! When you're on a registration page, tap in the Password field.
You will then see a Dashlane window at the bottom of the screen. Tap on the green Generate strong password button to get a strong password for this site. Tap on the Abc button if you prefer using the keyboard to type in your own password.
After you tap on the Generate strong password button, Dashlane will fill in the Password field as well as the Repeat password field (if it's there) with this strong password. When you click to sign up to the site, you will be able to save this login to Dashlane so that you can log in to this site in the future.
After you've saved it to Dashlane, you will be able to see and to edit this login in the Passwords section of the app.
How to auto-fill my credit card for online purchases
When you are shopping online, you can use Dashlane to fill in your credit card or other payment info in the checkout fields. For example, when buying something from Amazon, you need to put in your credit card details to complete a purchase. When you see a field where you need to put in your credit card, tap in this field.
When you tap in a field that's asking for your credit card, Dashlane will show a window with the payment info that you have already saved into your Dashlane account. Tap on the card you wish to enter into the site.
After you select your payment info from the window at the bottom of the screen, Dashlane will automatically fill out all your payment details: no more painstakingly typing in your credit card number!
