When invited to your company's Dashlane plan, you may already have a personal Dashlane account with a different login email. In order to combine the data from these two separate accounts, you can easily migrate your data from your personal account to your new business one, using a secure Dashlane archive file.
Note that if you are simply upgrading your existing account from Dashlane Free or Premium to a business account, there is no need to export/import your data, and this page does not apply to you.
Also, note that you cannot create a backup from iOS, you will need to use a desktop computer (Windows or Mac OS X) or Android device.
Finally, if you are invited to join a Dashlane Business plan with SSO enabled, you are currently only able to use an Android device to import your data.

How to create a secure archive file of your data
Windows / Mac OS X
- Launch Dashlane and log in to your account
- Select File > Export > Dashlane secure archive from the top menu (or press ⌘ + ⇧ + S on Mac OS X)
- Enter your Master Password (if required)
- Save the file in a safe place
Your whole account is exported in this process. It is currently not possible to export only part of your data. Once exported, you can rename and move the file wherever you like on your computer. When restoring from this backup, the file's name or location won't matter.

- Enter your Master Password to authenticate yourself and choose a password to encrypt the backup
