Smart Space Management is a business feature that helps users automatically place company items in the business space.
Company items, including passwords, are defined by the admin in the Admin Console using your company's domains. Passwords matching the specified domain are automatically moved to the business space for all users on the plan.

There are two ways that an item can be placed in the business space. The admin can force company items to the business space or let the user decide. If items are forced to the business space, the user cannot move those items to their personal space. Otherwise, the user can move items from the business to the personal space and vice versa.

How will Smart Space Management affect members of a business plan?
When members add an item to their Dashlane account, the Dashlane application will see if the domain matches the company's domain(s) set by the admin in the Admin Console. If it does, the Dashlane application will automatically suggest to add that item to the business space on all devices or force it there.

Smart Space Management is enabled once the company domain is entered into the Admin Console.

Forcing company items to the business space
Forcing company items to the business space triggers an automatic and enforced space attribution for items that contain your company's domain(s). Members will not have the ability to move company items out of the business space if they are forced there by the admin. Members will also not be able to export any enforced password from their account.
When members add an item to their Dashlane account with the same company domain name as set in the Admin Console, the Dashlane application will automatically assign the item to the business space.
By forcing company items to the business space, members will not have the ability to change the Space for these specific items.
How do you force company items into the business space?
A business admin can turn this setting on in the Admin Console. This feature will be enabled once the company domain is entered into the Admin Console and the Force company items to the company space option toggle is enabled. No action is required from the members.
Once the option to Remove company items for revoked users was enabled by the admin as well, all forced items under the user's business space will be removed form their account once they are revoked from the plan.
