Smart Space Management is a business plan feature that helps members automatically place company items in their business space.
An account admin defines company items, including passwords, in the Admin Console using the company's domains. The Dashlane app automatically moves passwords matching the specified domains into the business space for all plan members.

- Secondary login
Items can end up in the business space in one of two ways:
- The admin forces all company items into the business space.
- A member manually saves an item to the business space.
If the admin forces all company items into the business space, members cannot move those items out of the business space. Otherwise, the member can move items from the business to the personal space and vice versa.

How will Smart Space Management affect members of a business plan?
When members add an item to their Dashlane account, the Dashlane app checks whether the domain matches the company's domain(s) set by the admin in the Admin Console. If it does, the Dashlane app automatically suggests adding that item to the business space on all devices or forces it there.
How is Smart Space Management enabled?
An admin enables Smart Space Management when they enter the company domain into the Admin Console.
Force company items into the business space
Forcing company items into the business space saves all items that contain the company's domains to the business space.
When members add items to their Dashlane account that include the company domains defined in the Admin Console, Dashlane automatically places that item in the business space. Members cannot move company items out of the business space.
When exporting data, members can export only those items saved in their Personal space. Members cannot export the data from their business space even if they manually added it and it wasn't forced there by the policy.
How do you force company items into the business space?
A business admin can turn on this setting in the Admin Console by entering the company domain and enabling the Force company items to the company space option. Members do not need to take any action.
To remove all items in a member's business space when removing the member from the plan, admins should enable the option to Remove company items for revoked users.
