Manually add a website to an existing login's details in the web app

Select the Dashlane D icon in your browser’s toolbar and enter your Master Password if prompted. In the extension pop-up, select Open the web app.

1. Open an existing login.
2. In the Website section, select Add another website.
3. In the Added by you section, enter the web address (URL) you want to link to the login.
4. Select Save.

The linked websites count is updated on the login details page.

The new linked website doesn't appear individually in the logins list in your vault. Because this login is linked to an existing login, the new linked website appears only in the existing login.

Select Manage linked websites in the existing login to see the other logins you linked.

When logging in to the website you linked, the existing login will be suggested. Click in a field with the blue Dashlane D icon, and the Autofill list appears. The D is blue because you have information saved in your vault for this field.

Select the suggestion that appears with the link icon, shown as two links in a chain.

To remove the linked website you added, select Manage linked websites on the login details page. Then select the trash can icon next to the web address and select Save. The linked websites count is updated on the login details page.

Manually add linked websites in the Android app

1. In your vault, open the login you want to link a website to.
2. Select Edit, shown as a pencil icon in the upper-right corner.
3. In the Website section, select Add a linked website to link a website to the login. If you already have multiple websites or apps for the login, select Manage "x" linked services to view and add more.
4. On the next screen, you'll see the list of websites that are already linked to the login. Select + Link a website and enter the web address you want to add.

   Select the Apps tab to view linked apps. You'll also see other apps that can link to this login but that you haven't installed yet. If you want to install one of these apps, select the external link icon to go to the Play Store and install the app. After installation, Dashlane links the app automatically to your login.

5. Select Done and then Save, shown as a checkmark.

The linked websites count is updated on the login details screen. The new login is suggested and can be used to autofill on linked websites.

Manually add linked websites on the iPhone

1. In your vault, open the login you want to link a website to.
2. Select Edit in the upper-right corner.
3. In the Website section, select + Add another website and enter the web address you want to link to that login.
4. Select Done and then Save.

The linked websites count is updated on the login details screen. The new login is suggested and can be used to autofill on linked websites.

Add a website to an existing login's details during the login process in the web app

You can't add linked websites during the login process on Safari.

You can "link" and use the same username and password for different services that share the same account.

Example: You have a Disney account with login details stored for “shop.disney.com.” You can use those same login details for another Disney service.

You can link websites in two ways:

1. Copy and paste the login details from the extension pop-up.
2. Search for the login details in the website’s login fields.

Copy and paste the login details from the extension pop-up

With the copy and paste pop-up in the extension, you can automatically link two websites for services that share the same account.

After you copy and paste the first detail from a login in your vault, a pop-up appears so that you can easily copy other relevant details. You can securely copy and paste information from the pop-up without returning to the extension.

More about copy and paste pop-ups

1. To open the extension, select the Dashlane D in your browser’s toolbar and enter your Master Password if prompted.
2. In the extension, search for and point to the existing login you want to copy information from. Icons appear in the item's row.
3. Select the Copy icon and select the login detail you want to copy, like your email or password.
4. Paste the information into the form field.
5. After you paste, the copy and paste pop-up appears with other relevant details for the item. You have 7 seconds to select the Copy icon next to the information you want to copy. The pop-up disappears when you leave the page.
6. Return to the form field and paste the information.
7. Log in to the website.

The login information is saved as a linked website in the existing login. A pop-up notifies you that the two websites are linked. You can select Cancel in the pop-up if you decide you don't want to link the websites.

When logging in to the website you linked, the existing login will be suggested. Click in a field with the blue Dashlane D icon, and the Autofill list appears. The D is blue because you have information saved in your vault for this field.

Search for login details in a website’s login fields

From a website’s login fields, you can automatically link two websites for services that share the same account.

1. In a website’s Email or Username field, select the blue Dashlane D icon. The D is blue because you have information saved in your vault for this field. In the Autofill list, select the information you want to add.
2. In the Autofill list, select the magnifying glass icon if you want to select something else. From the Suggested list, enter a keyword in the search field to filter the list. From the All items list, you can search all the items in your vault.

   A gray Dashlane D in the field means the information isn’t saved in Dashlane. Select the magnifying glass icon to search for and select the existing login information you want to use.

3. After you select an existing login, select the information you want to enter in the field.

The login information is saved as a linked website in the existing login. A pop-up notifies you that the two websites are linked.

You can select Cancel in the pop-up if you decide you don't want to link the websites. You can link the websites again anytime.

The new website autofills with the existing login information and is saved as a linked website in the existing login.
