PIN unlock gives you a faster way to open Dashlane. Instead of a password, you enter a 6-digit PIN. Your PIN works only on the device or browser where you turn on PIN unlock.
For accounts protected by a Master Password, PIN unlock is available anywhere you use Dashlane. For accounts protected by single sign-on (SSO), you can use PIN unlock on mobile or in the macOS app.
More about Dashlane account types
PIN unlock is different from a passwordless account protected by a PIN. A passwordless account uses a PIN instead of a Master Password as the main way to access your account.
