Omnix AI Advisor is a chat tool in the Admin Console that answers questions about your organization's credential security data and recommends actions you can take based on your risk insights. AI Advisor is available for admins of organizations with Credential Protection who joined the beta testing phase.
What is Omnix AI Advisor
AI Advisor turns your combined activity logs into actionable security insights. Ask a question in your own words, and AI Advisor replies in the chat with a plain-text answer and a set of recommended actions. You can keep asking follow-up questions in the same conversation to narrow the results or ask for a report. If a question falls outside the supported use cases, AI Advisor explains its current limits.
You have multiple questions you can start with:
- Who are my riskiest users?
- Show me the AI tools being used and who is using them.
- What are the most urgent actions I should take right now?
- Which websites have the most compromised passwords?
- Which suspected phishing websites were clicked by the most users?
- What suspicious activity has been detected on the dark web?
How does AI Advisor process data?
AI Advisor uses the same zero-knowledge principles that protect Dashlane vaults and activity logs. To deliver intelligent insights without creating data tracking risks, AI Advisor runs inside a secure confidential computing layer:
- Isolated processing: The system processes, decrypts, and re-encrypts logs entirely inside hardware-isolated cloud enclaves. Neither Dashlane nor our cloud providers can access your plaintext information at any point.
- Automated verification: Cloud instances run automated cryptographic checks to verify code integrity before processing any data.
- No training on customer data: AI Advisor uses an open-weight large language model that runs entirely within an isolated environment. Dashlane never transmits query content or response histories to third-party AI providers, and the system never trains on your business data.
-
Strict metadata scope: The model evaluates activity logs and account metadata visible to organization admins. AI Advisor never accesses, views, or tracks personal vault details or employee passwords.
Set up and start using the AI Advisor
AI Advisor is turned off by default. During the beta period, we have to make the feature available for your account before you can use it. Once we activate your access, follow these steps:
Find an earlier conversation
AI Advisor saves your chats, so you can close the window and pick up where you left off. In AI Advisor, select the Conversations tab to see your past chats, then select one to open the full exchange, or select New conversation to start a new chat.

Common questions about AI Advisor
Does Dashlane have access to the data I query?
No. Dashlane processes every query inside a hardware-isolated enclave. Your data stays encrypted and unreadable to Dashlane or any third-party provider.
Can AI Advisor see the passwords in my organization's vaults?
No. AI Advisor only reviews security metadata and activity logs. The tool cannot see or access the contents of passwords, passkeys, or login credentials.
Can AI Advisor remove a member or change settings for me?
No. AI Advisor recommends actions and gives you the reasoning behind them. You make every change yourself in the Admin Console.
Is my chat history saved for later?
Yes. AI Advisor saves your conversations in the Conversations tab, so logging out or closing the window keeps them stored the same.
Can I export the output of AI Advisor chats?
You can highlight and copy any response, or select Copy response to move the text into an external document. AI Advisor returns plain text, so it pastes easily into reports and emails.
