This service only comes with Premium Plus and Premium Plus Family plans, which Dashlane no longer sells. We've simplified our plans to focus on the features shared by all of our customers. If you already have a Premium Plus or Premium Plus Family plan, you'll keep your current plan and its additional security features.
Premium Plus customers in the United States have access to identity theft insurance provided by AIG. You can claim up to $1 million* for costs and losses if someone steals your identity. Losses can include lost wages, legal fees, money spent on certified mail, long-distance charges, and more.

What is identity theft?
Identity theft is when someone uses your personal information to commit fraud.
For example, this person might use your social security number to get a new credit card, qualify for a loan, or avoid criminal punishment. Or they might steal your bank card information to buy things or transfer money to themselves.
Often the victim doesn't realize at first that someone has stolen their identity.
Access your identity theft insurance
As a Premium Plus customer, you have automatic access to identity theft insurance. You don't need to enroll.
If you think someone has stolen your identity, select the Premium Plus tab in the Tools section of the Dashlane app. To file a claim, call the phone number in the section Identity theft insurance by AIG.
Next steps
AIG operators will guide you through the process of making a claim. They speak English, Spanish, and French. You'll need to give them the email address you use to log in to your Dashlane account.
As a Premium Plus customer, you also have access to our identity restoration service.
