With a simple tap, you can add most credit and debit cards to Dashlane on your Android device. Android uses near-field communication (NFC) to import information from payment cards.
Check for compatibility
First, check that your card and device are compatible with NFC.
Check your card for the contactless icon.
On your device, look for the NFC tile in the Quick settings menu that appears when you swipe down from the top.
Or go to Settings, then Connections, and turn on NFC and contactless payments.
Add cards
Once you've turned on NFC, you can start adding cards:
- In the Dashlane app, select Payments, then + Add new, then Credit/Debit Card.
- Hold your card to the back of your device. Dashlane autofills the card information, including the card number and expiration date.
- Enter the security code on the back of your card manually. You may need to enter the cardholder's name and address as well.
Note: You can also use this feature to correct or update an existing card.
