On Android, Dashlane has made it even easier to protect yourself on unsecure WiFi. You can turn your Dashlane VPN on and off directly from your device's quick settings.
On Android devices, the quick settings menu is what you see when you swipe down twice from the menu bar at the top of the screen (or once with two fingers), and is the same place people usually turn on their WiFi.

How to place and use Dashlane's quick settings VPN button
If you're using Dashlane 6.1905 or later, the Dashlane VPN button, or "tile," is automatically available to be placed into your quick settings menu.
- Open your quick settings.
- Tap on the button or menu item to edit your quick settings. In the example below, this was done by tapping on the pencil icon, though the icon or exact path may be different on your Android device.
- Find the Dashlane VPN button, and simply drag it to where you want it to be located in your quick settings.
And that's it! Once you've placed the button, you can turn your Dashlane VPN on and off right from your quick settings. This will automatically connect you to the last server location you chose. If you have not specified a choice, it defaults to the nearest server location.
Remember that you must be logged in to Dashlane to be able to use the VPN. If you log out of Dashlane while connected to the VPN, the VPN connection will be lost.
Note that if you have not yet set up your VPN, the button will read "Set up VPN", and if you are not Premium or not logged in, the button will read "Get VPN".
