The dark mode in Dashlane, as in other apps and services, changes the traditional light interface to a darker one, lowering the overall brightness of your device's screen.
As such, it’s the perfect mode for nighttime, or simply to make your mobile device's battery last longer.
Currently, Dashlane's dark mode is available only in our mobile apps.

Android 10 and above
From Android 10, to switch Dashlane into dark mode, you have to switch your whole device to a dark theme.
Go to the Settings of your device, select Display, then turn on the Dark theme.
Note that on Android 10 and above, a Dark theme system button, or "tile," is automatically available to be placed into your quick settings menu. This makes switching back and forth between dark and light themes easy.
- Open your quick settings.
- Tap on the button or menu item to edit your quick settings.
- Find the Dark theme button, and drag it to where you want to place it among your other quick settings.
And that's it! Once you've placed the button, you can switch your Android's Dark theme on and off right from your quick settings.
Android 9 and below
For users on Android 9 and below, you also have the possibility to use Dashlane's dark mode. However, on these Android versions this is not a system-wide feature. Instead, you will turn the mode on for the Dashlane app only by selecting the dark theme from the app's settings.
Go to Dashlane's Settings and select General. Then, under "Display", turn on the Dark theme.
