Depending on how a website is designed, sometimes Dashlane may not be able to detect the fields needed to log in successfully. Dashlane might even autofill incorrect information. With the new Dashlane right-click menu, you can right-click in a form field and choose which information you want to autofill. Dashlane remembers the data and autofills the field the next time you visit the website.
The Dashlane right-click menu is available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Opera browsers through the Dashlane extension on your computer only.

In case you missed it, we recently released new functionality that lets you protect your items with your Master Password. Until now, you had to go into each item and select whether you required a Master Password to access that item. Now, you can simply go to your Security Settings and turn on the Require Master Password setting for all of your passwords in one go.

- We improved Password Changer's reliability with reCAPTCHA.
- From now on, we'll autofill both your first and last name on form fields classified as "name."

- A few weeks ago, we announced you could export all the data from your Personal Space, like passwords, Secure Notes, IDs, and payments in a DASH format. You can now also import your data into DASH file format. A DASH file is a Dashlane Secure Archive file. It's encrypted and protected by the password of your choice.
- We've improved the look of the HTTP warning banner in the autofill suggestion cards so you're well aware when a site you're visiting isn't secure.
Bug fix
- You can specify to autofill login and passwords only when you select "Only login and passwords" in the autofill settings tab of your extension pop-up. Now it is, as it should be.
- We fixed a UI glitch that caused the checkbox to consent to Hotspot Shield's Terms & Service and Privacy policy to be misplaced in the web view (app.dashlane.com without the extension installed).

Bug fix
- A bug in our Chrome extension was causing certain websites to slow down or even crash. This is now fixed.

- We fixed an issue that was preventing some users from scrolling through their password list, and therefore hiding a part of their data from them.

- You know how Dashlane sometimes suggests saving credentials that are already stored? We've instructed the engine to stop that, so that should happen less often.
- A UI glitch caused the web app to crash when scrolling through passwords or when searching them. This is now fixed!
- Admin Console: A bug allowed users to export their entire vault regardless of the company's policies. This is now fixed!
- Admin Console: You can now see with more accuracy in the Admin Console if your employee invites have been accepted or are still pending.

Who doesn’t love a little customization? You now have the ability to “pause” Dashlane’s autofill wherever you like and correct a wonky autofilling and have Dashlane remember your preferences. Major.

- Did you know you could open your extension with a keyboard shortcut? If you ever forget what the shortcut is, you'll now find it on the autofill suggestion cards.

This release contains:
- The new Password Health section in the web app, which will allow you to know how secure your passwords are.
- For some users, we have added a step inviting you to "Try Autofill" when first setting up the extension. Any user can use autofill, though, so give it a go if you haven't already!
- When you first log in to the Standalone extension on Chrome, we will now alert you that you should pin the extension to your toolbar for the full experience.
- We clarified the wording of the "keep session open for 14 days" checkbox.
- The "Getting Started" icon has been updated to match the look of the rest of the extension.
- We added some smoother animations upon completion of the "Add Mobile" getting started section, and fixed some pesky bugs related to this process.
- We fixed an issue where the side menu would jump around when switching between Spaces.

- We fixed a bug where, when you were asked to confirm your Master Password, you had to first click into the field to type it.
- We added icons to our pop-up windows to show if a password is in the Business or Personal Space.

- We improved our suggestions in email fields on registration forms. We now suggest any emails that you have added in your Personal Info vault, as well as the emails associated with the credentials in your Passwords vault.

This release contains:
- We fixed a bug where some users couldn't dismiss a "Got it" notification on their screen
- You now have direct access to your protected passwords within the extension, without having to go to the web app—assuming you enter your Master Password, of course!

June 9, 2020 – extension version 6.2022.2
This release contains:
- Clicking on a credential on the This Website tab now opens the detail view for that credential, directly within the extension, saving you the trouble of having to open the web app.
- We simplified the main view of the extension to focus on what's most important to you—your passwords. The bar at the bottom of the extension pop-up has been removed. Now, to find the Open the App button, select the 3-dot icon in the upper right of the extension pop-up.
- We made more improvements to the autofill experience.
May 26, 2020 – extension version 6.2020.3
This release contains:
- The fix to an issue that was making some websites freeze when the Dashlane extension is installed
- A fix on the web app's Get started tab, where some parts of the text were not properly vertically aligned
- A fix for the password history's show and hide button that was not always responsive
- A fix on the Password Generator tab of the extension, where the "generate" icon was not in the right color
- A fix to the login window of the extension popover, where the drop down arrow to select which account you wished to use was not visible
May 13, 2020 – extension version 6.2019.0
This release contains:
- Various minor text corrections and improvements to the design of the onboarding experience
- The fix to an issue where users weren't being logged out of sites during onboarding
- The fix to an issue where users could no longer navigate in the web app when the onboarding tooltip was present
- The history of your generated passwords was added to the generator tab of the extension popover
- The ability to unlock Master Password-protected credentials directly in the extension popover
- A fix to the feature where, when you're on a web page and click "Add credential" in the extension popover (on the "This website" tab when no credentials are saved in Dashlane) opens the form in the web app with the pre-filled domain
- We've improved how Dashlane interprets logins, and so no longer will suggest you save the password you just entered if Dashlane was not able to capture your login but recognizes that it already has a password for that domain
- We have improved our security against autofilling hidden login forms
- We rebuilt how we manage the pop-up messages you get from Dashlane in your browser in order to prevent these from refusing to close, as users had reported this occasionally occurring

This release contains:
- A new onboarding flow centered around adding passwords, and that will be seen by new users when they download the extension
- The "Copy info" dropdown on the extension popover now allows you to copy any login and password not protected with your Master Password
- You can now see your credentials' details, right in the extension popover
- The "This website" tab now has the same interactive components as the Vault tab, such as the "copy info" button
- Many fixes to the autofill experience
