Here's what's new in Dashlane's Windows app!
December 10, 2020 – Windows version 6.2050.0
In this version, we fixed some bugs related to onboarding and cryptography.
November 30, 2020 – Windows version 6.2048.0
In this version, we clarified the error message the app returns if you try to log in to the app when your account is set up to use SSO. Instead of an "unknown error (-1211)" message, the app now explains clearly that it's not possible to log in to your Dashlane account in the desktop app if you use SSO.
November 9, 2020 – Windows version 6.2044.0
In this version, we removed the Sync tab from the app's preferences. Synchronization is now enabled for all our users in order to make sure we keep a safe backup of their encrypted data in case of emergency.
Older Windows releases

This version contains bug fixes.
September 28, 2020 – Windows version 6.2039.0
This version fixes our anonymous activity logs, which weren't indicating if users are members or admins of a family plan. Having this kind of information allows us to better understand how our app or features are being used, and be able to improve them!
September 14, 2020 – Windows version 6.2037.0
This version fixes an issue that was preventing the Password Health Score from updating properly when a fifth password was added to the vault.
August 31, 2020 – Windows version 6.2035.0
This version includes the following:
- The fix to an issue for Free users trying to log in on a new device. When prompted to unlink the previous device, the last activity date was not being displayed.
- Users of our business product may have noticed that when registering a new credit card, the selected Space was not vertically aligned with the section title. We like to think we're sexier than a spreadsheet, but we like good alignment, too!
- We further strengthened the security of the VPN to prevent malware from being able to replace the service’s executable file during installation. We think our security team members have twisted minds to have thought of it, but that’s what we pay them for!
August 17, 2020 – Windows version 6.2033.0
This version includes changes that will allow us, in the near future, to simplify and update the way Sync works. You'll receive an email before we make the change.
July 27, 2020 – Windows version 6.2030.0

Did you get to these notes by clicking on the Release notes... link in the "Help" menu of our Windows app? That link used to redirect to a different article with notes for every platform, but from now on we'll give you only the notes that matter to you!
June 26, 2020 – Windows version 6.2026.0
In this version, we fix an issue with the Show/Hide button next to the password field in the login popup. In some cases it wouldn't update properly after being used. A visible bug with a button labeled "Hide"—how ironic!
June 15, 2020 – Windows version 6.2024.0
This version contains:
- The fix to an issue that some of you may have experienced and that made the Dark Web Monitoring section disappear from the Identity Dashboard when the app was closed and reopened. This magic trick was brilliantly pulled off but the Dark Web Monitoring section will now behave as it should!
- The fix to an issue that made the secure note icon invisible in the search result popup when the secure note color was set to gray. It must have learned the trick from the Dark Web Monitoring section.
- The fix to an issue that made the vertical scrollbar shift a bit to the left during password import.
- The fix to an issue that prevented the VPN menu from being displayed the first time a Premium account was accessed on a Windows device. Yes, logging out and back in used to solve the problem, but we thought we could make things even easier by displaying the VPN menu from the start. Mission accomplished!
