The Dashlane Business plan introduces our most-requested feature, single sign-on (SSO) integration. This feature offers a seamless login experience for a company's employees using their organization’s existing suite of IT tools.
If your company has enabled SSO for Dashlane, you will no longer need to create and remember a Master Password to access your Dashlane vault. Instead, SSO allows you to create and sign in to your Dashlane account using the SSO credentials you already use to sign in to other tools at your company.
Please note that the SSO integration is not compatible with our desktop applications for Windows and for MacOS, so you won't be able to use those to access your Dashlane account.
Instead, follow the instructions below to create and log in to your Dashlane account with SSO on the web as well as on our mobile applications (Android and iOS).
This article shows an overview of the features that are accessible on the web compared to the ones that are accessible from our desktop applications. To know more about the frequently asked questions and other limitations on SSO, please see here.
If you are invited to join a Dashlane Team plan or a Dashlane Business plan without SSO enabled, please see Joining a business plan to help you getting started with Dashlane.

How to create your Dashlane account with SSO
When an admin invites you to join a Business plan, you will receive an email inviting you to join the company's account. All you need to do is to create your Dashlane account and you'll automatically be added to your company's plan.
Here's how to go about it:
On the web
When you open the email inviting you to join your company's account from the web, click on "Join <your team name> now" or copy the url on that email to your browser.
You will be directed briefly to a web-page that confirms that you have now joined your company's Dashlane account, and that invites you to create your account. There is no action required from you at this point.
Next, you'll be automatically directed to your company's SSO login page where you will be required to sign in using your SSO username and password.
Once you're logged in, you'll be directed to a web-page to finalize the creation of your account:
- Your email address is pre-filled with your professional email address and cannot be edited. It will be your Dashlane ID which you will use to log in to Dashlane on all your devices.
- By clicking Next, you are agreeing to our Terms of services and Privacy policy.
Note that since you are using your email address with your employer's domain to create your Dashlane account, your IT administrator may be able to access the information you store in Dashlane, including personal credentials. Dashlane has no control over your organization’s policies. We recommend you contact your IT administrator if you have any questions.
Finally, you'll be invited to add the Dashlane extension to your browser. To help you getting started with the extension, please refer to our article on how to get started with the Dashlane extension.
On iOS
First, go to the App Store and download Dashlane.
When you open the app for the first time, you will be asked whether you want to create a new account or if you already have an account. Tap the Get started button to create your account.
You will then be prompted to enter your work email address—the address with your company's domain name—to create your account. This will be your Dashlane ID, which you will use to log in to Dashlane on all your devices.
Next, you will be redirected to your company's SSO login page where you will be required to sign in using your SSO username and password.
At this stage, you can also choose to enable Face ID, Touch ID or PIN code lock if your device is supported, so that you can log in without having to use SSO authentication every time.
You can then start adding logins, passwords and data to your vault and activate autofill to make your web browsing experience easier and faster.
On Android
After installing the app from the Google Play Store, the first thing you need to do is create your Dashlane account. Tap on the Get started button at the bottom of the introductory screens.
To create your Dashlane account, enter your work email address—the address with your company's domain name—to create your account. This will be your Dashlane ID, which you will use to log in to Dashlane on all your devices.
Next, you will be redirected to your company's SSO login page where you will be required to sign in using your SSO username and password.
At this point, you will be able to enable unlocking with biometrics or a PIN code to avoid having to use SSO authentication at every login.
You can then start adding logins, passwords and data to your vault and activate autofill to make your web browsing experience easier and faster.
