Dashlane's Premium Family plans lets family members or friends get Dashlane together. Each user's account is independent, but everyone in the family can enjoy Dashlane once they've joined the plan.
With it, you can give Dashlane to your family and friends and help them manage their privacy on the web with simplicity, peace of mind, and security.
If you are part of a paid Dashlane Business plan, you will have access to Premium Family and can invite up to five members of your family to join at no additional cost. Note that Premium Family is not included with the Dashlane Team plan.
Premium Family with Dashlane Business
After joining a Dashlane Business account, you will receive an email to add Premium Family to your account. This email will redirect you to a specific page to redeem the offer on your existing account.
You will only be able to redeem this offer with your company email address you use to log into Dashlane. Family and friends invited to the plan are free to use personal email addresses.
All members, including the admin of the team, will need to complete this step to have access to their family plan.
Once completed, your Premium Family will immediately be added to your account, and all that's left to do is invite your family and friends to enjoy Dashlane.
What will happen once I leave Dashlane Business?
Your Premium Family remains active until you are no longer part of your Dashlane Business plan.
Once this happens, you and your family plan members will no longer be part of an active family account. Users who were new to Dashlane will become Free users. Otherwise, family members will revert to their previous individual status of Free or Premium. This will not result in any data loss.
Once revoked from the Dashlane Business plan, all members of the family will receive an email about the status of their account. At this point, if you wish to reinstate Premium Family, you will need to purchase the plan.
Keep in mind that if your team also has SSO integration, you will need to create a new Dashlane account with an email address without your company's domain. For questions about SSO integration, its features, and its limitations, visit our pages here.
