* Notes section for app details
General notes
* Require Master Password to unlock Secure Notes: You can lock specific Secure Notes so that your Master Password is required to unlock them.
Web app notes
* Secure file storage: For now, secure file storage in the web app is available only on Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium browsers, such as Opera, Brave, and Vivaldi. Secure file storage on Firefox is planned.
* Share information with a trusted person: We’re working on an improved experience to allow easier account co-ownership and digital delegation for emergencies.
* Log in with biometrics or a security key: You can use a security key as a login method only on the web app and extension. Compatible browsers include Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium browsers, such as Opera, Brave, and Vivaldi.
* U2F security key support: We have no plans to continue to support the U2F standard on the web app and the usage of security keys for 2FA. We do support YubiKeys instead of typing your Master Password—similar to using Face ID on an iOS device—when you log in to the extension on browsers compatible with the feature.
Safari app notes
* Zero-Knowledge Account Recovery: If you use Safari, we recommend that you log in to another browser with the extension to use this feature.
* Password history: Only passwords generated in the Safari app can be retrieved from the app's history.
* Export passwords: We recommend that you log in to another browser with the extension installed or contact Customer Support.
* Import passwords: We recommend that you log in to another browser with the extension installed or contact Customer Support.
* Share information with a trusted person: We’re working on an improved experience to allow easier account co-ownership and digital delegation for emergencies.
* Ability to enable or disable two-factor authentication (2FA): Two-factor authentication isn’t planned to be available in the Safari app at this time. If you use Safari, you can use another browser with the extension to enable or disable 2FA.
