Though Chromium browsers like Brave and Opera are not officially supported, our browser extension can be installed and used on these browsers.
The Dashlane extension in your Chromium browser doesn't seem to be working, or isn't present in your browser at all? There are several reasons this might occur. To solve the problem, use the troubleshooting tool below, or review the additional information at the bottom of the page.
- Running Dashlane in administrator mode (Windows)
How to stay signed in to your Dashlane account in our browser extension
You now have the option to have the browser extension remember your Master Password!
By default, the extension is set to automatically log you out when you close your browser. To avoid this, you can instead choose to have the extension remember your Master Password.
Note that you’ll only see this option if the device has already been registered to your Dashlane account. This option will not appear if it is the first time you’re logging in, or if the device isn’t or hasn’t yet been registered.
Only enable this feature if you’re certain that your computer has a strong password and is safe from unauthorized access. For security reasons, you’ll still be required to log in with your Master Password every 14 days.
Please note that this option is not available if you are part of a Dashlane Business plan with single sign-on (SSO) enabled.
Running Dashlane in administrator mode (Windows)
It is recommended not to launch your browser in admin mode. Please refer to the following guide in order to know how to make sure this is not the case for you.
