In your web browser: On Windows, you can use your face, fingerprint, device PIN, or a security key. On a Mac, you can use Touch ID or a security key. On Linux, you can only use a security key. Biometric unlock works in the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Opera, but not in Firefox or Safari. You also need the Dashlane extension installed in your browser.
Install the Dashlane browser extension
In the Dashlane app: You need a device that can recognize your face or fingerprint. Your options depend on your device—some support both, others support only one. On iPhone, you can use Face ID with iPhone X and later.
Security keys: You can use any security key that works with FIDO2 and WebAuthn.
