You can require a Master Password to open your logins and Secure Notes. This article explains how to turn on this setting for individual logins and Secure Notes or all of your logins at once.
After you turn on this setting for a login or Secure Note, you're asked to enter your Master Password when you copy, view, or autofill the item. You won't have to enter a Master Password more than once every five minutes or right after you log in, even when this setting is turned on.
You can update this setting in the Dashlane web app for logins and Secure Notes. For Secure Notes, you can also update this setting in your mobile app.
Note: This setting is automatically turned on for credit cards and other payment methods stored in Dashlane. When you autofill a payment method or try to view the numbers associated with your payment method, we'll ask for your Master Password unless you logged in to Dashlane within the last five minutes. After entering your Master Password to view or autofill a payment method, we won't ask again for another five minutes.
