Move your data from RoboForm Expand Sections

You can move your logins and other data from RoboForm into Dashlane.

First, you need to export your data from RoboForm. Then you can import your data to Dashlane. After you import your data, make sure to turn off or remove all RoboForm extensions and apps. Otherwise, you may have problems using Autofill and other Dashlane features.

Export your data from RoboForm

You can export your data from RoboForm to a CSV file. The file will contain logins and Secure Notes.

For each login stored in RoboForm, the CSV file contains the item name, username, password, website, and note.  You'll also export any information related to custom folders and the RoboForm fields MatchUrl and RfFieldsV2. For each Secure Note, you'll export the note's name and contents, as well as any information related to custom folders.

Important: CSV files aren't encrypted, and other people can read them. We recommend you delete the CSV file from your device as soon as you finish using the file.

Import your data to Dashlane

You can only import your data using the web or Android apps. At this time, you can't import a CSV file using the iOS (Apple) app.

Import your data to Dashlane

Each login you import from RoboForm contains the Item name, Website, Username, and Note in the correct location. Other information stored in RoboForm logins will be included in the Note section of the Dashlane login.

Important: The password for RoboForm logins is imported into the Note section of the Dashlane login.

Each Secure Note you import from RoboForm contains the note’s name and contents. If the note is stored in a custom folder in RoboForm, this information is included in the note’s contents in Dashlane.

Remove RoboForm from your browser

After you've imported your data, you're ready to use Dashlane to manage your online life. Make sure to turn off or remove apps and extensions for any other password managers in the browsers that you use.
