If you notice that data is missing from one of your Dashlane apps but not from the others, you may be experiencing a problem with syncing your data. You can follow the steps in this article to resolve the issue.
Whenever you perform troubleshooting, we recommend creating a backup of your Dashlane account, as sometimes data loss may occur when your devices are re-synced. You can securely save all your data by exporting to a DASH file. DASH files are encrypted, so no one can read the file without a password that you create.
Troubleshooting steps
-
If you haven't already, make sure you're logged in with the same Dashlane account on all your devices.
-
If you're using an old version of Dashlane, you might encounter sync issues. Your data may be saved locally, not uploaded to our servers, and therefore not synced on other devices. Please make sure that you're using the latest version of Dashlane.
-
Log out and log back in on any devices you think might be affected. Logging out and logging in can fix most sync problems.
