You can secure your Amazon account with passkeys in Dashlane in two easy steps:
- Create the passkey on the Amazon site. You'll store the passkey in your Dashlane vault in the process.
- Sign in to Amazon with your passkey wherever you use Dashlane.
Use passkeys for Amazon with the Dashlane web app
Create a passkey for Amazon with the Dashlane web app
- Make sure you're logged in to the Dashlane extension.
- Sign in to Amazon using your existing password.
- Select Account & Lists in the top right corner. Then select Account.
- Select Login & security.
- In the Passkeys section, select Set up. Or, if you've already set up passkeys for your Amazon account, select Edit.
- If this is your first passkey for Amazon, select Set up again. If you already have a passkey saved for Amazon, you can select Add a passkey.
Note: Websites and apps usually allow you to save multiple passkeys. But you only need to save one passkey in your Dashlane account for each website or app. You can use the same passkey on any device where you've logged in to your Dashlane account.
- Select Confirm in the Dashlane pop-up.
- Some websites require an extra verification step. In these cases, we ask you to enter your Master Password. If biometric unlock is turned on, you can use biometrics or your device PIN code for this step instead.
- We save your passkey to your Dashlane account.
Sign in to Amazon with a passkey saved in the Dashlane web app
- Make sure you're logged in to the Dashlane extension.
- Open the Amazon sign-in page. Dashlane autofills your email address. Select Continue.
- Select Sign in with a passkey and select Confirm in the Dashlane pop-up.
- Some websites require an extra verification step. In these cases, we ask you to enter your Master Password. If biometric unlock is turned on, you can use biometrics or your device PIN code for this step instead.
- We log you in to your Amazon account.

- Make sure you're logged in to the Dashlane Android app.
- Make sure you've selected Dashlane to autofill your data on Android.
- Open the Amazon app and select the person icon at the bottom of the screen.
- In the Your account section, select See all.
- In the Account settings section, select Login & Security.
- In the Passkeys section, select Set up. Or, if you've already set up passkeys for your Amazon account, select Edit.
- If this is your first passkey for Amazon, select Set up again. If you already have a passkey saved for Amazon, you can select Add a passkey.

- We log you in to your Amazon account.
