You can secure your Google account with passkeys in Dashlane in two easy steps:
- Create a passkey in your Google settings. You'll store the passkey in your Dashlane vault in the process.
- Sign in to Google with your passkey.

- Make sure you're logged in to the Dashlane extension.
- Sign in to Google using your existing password.
- Select the Google Account menu in the upper right corner. Then select Manage your Google Account.
- Select Security in the side menu.
- In the section How you sign in to Google, select Passkeys. If asked, enter your Google password and select Next.
- Select Create a passkey. If you see a Google pop-up asking whether you want to create a passkey on this device, select Continue. Then select Confirm in the Dashlane pop-up.
- Some websites require an extra verification step. In these cases, we ask you to enter your Master Password. If biometric unlock is turned on, you can use biometrics or your device PIN code for this step instead.
- We save your passkey to your Dashlane account.

- Make sure you're logged in to the Dashlane extension.
- Open Google and select Sign in. Dashlane autofills your email address. Select Next.
- If Google asks you for your password, select Try another way.
- Select Use your passkey.
- Select Confirm in the Dashlane pop-up.

- We log you in to your Google account.

- Make sure you're logged in to the Dashlane iPhone app.
- Make sure you've selected Dashlane to autofill your data on iPhone.
- Open Google Chrome and select the Google account icon at the top right of your Chrome browser.
- In the Chrome Settings menu, select your Google account.
- On the next screen, select your Google account again. Then select Manage your Google account in the pop-up.
- Select Security in the top menu.
- In the section How you sign in to Google, select Passkeys. If asked, enter your Google password and select Next.
- Select Create a passkey.
- In the pop-up, select Continue. We save your passkey to your Dashlane account.
- In the next pop-up, select Done. Your new passkey appears in the Passkeys section of your Google settings.

- Make sure you're logged in to the Dashlane iPhone app.
- Make sure you've selected Dashlane to autofill your data on iPhone.
- Go to the Sign in page of any Google app. Enter your Google email address and select Next.
- If Google asks you for your password, select Try another way. Then select Use your passkey.
- On the next screen, select Continue. Select Continue again in the pop-up.
- We log you in to your Google account.

Important: Passkeys rely on new and evolving technology. Your experience using passkeys might differ depending on the device, browser, website, or app you're using. Dashlane helps you manage passkeys for all websites and apps that use them. However, some sites and apps only allow you to create and use passkeys on certain platforms.
