Lock the Dashlane web app and extension
In the web app and extension, you have the option to lock your app in two situations:
- After turning on PIN unlock, biometric unlock, or both
- If you have a passwordless Dashlane account
If you have a passwordless account or you've turned on PIN unlock, biometric unlock, or both, you can lock the app anytime. While your app is locked, you can't access your data in the web app or extension pop-up. We'll also stop autofilling your information until you unlock the app.
To lock the app, you can select the Dashlane D in your browser toolbar to open the extension pop-up and then select More and Lock. You can also lock the extension from the web app by opening the My account menu and selecting Lock.
Note: You'll only see the option to lock the web app or extension if you turn on PIN unlock, biometric unlock, or both.
