Dashlane offers multiple methods to transfer data, so you can choose the method that works best for you.

CSV file: You can export your data using a CSV file. CSV files aren't encrypted, and others can read them. We recommend that you delete the CSV file from your device after you finish.

Credential Exchange: You can also move passwords, passkeys, and verification codes between Dashlane and participating password managers for iOS and Android devices. The feature is part of a broader industry push for open standards. This approach gives you more control and flexibility.
- Credential Exchange is available on Apple devices running iOS 26 or macOS 26 or later. This feature is available in the Dashlane app for iPhone, iPad, or your Mac, but not in the Dashlane browser extension.
