The passkeys you store in Dashlane are synced across your devices, and you can manage and delete passkeys in any Dashlane app.

Manage passkeys in the Dashlane web app
You can view, edit, and delete passkeys in the Dashlane web app.
View a passkey in the web app
Passkeys are stored in the Passkeys section. The Passkeys section only appears in the web app after you add your first passkey to Dashlane.
Edit a passkey in the web app
- Go to the Passkeys section and select the passkey you want to update.
- You can update the Item name or add details to the Note section.
- Select Save. The Save button only appears after you've made changes.
For some websites and apps, you'll see a Manage passkey link when you select the passkey in your Dashlane vault. This link takes you directly to the passkey settings for the website or app where you can add or remove passkeys.
Note: You'll only see the Manage passkey link for websites or apps that support this quick-access feature. If you don't see the link, you can still go to the account or security settings for the website or app to manage your passkeys.
Delete a passkey in the web app
Step 1: Deactivate the passkey
Go to the website or app for the passkey and delete or deactivate it. If available, you can use the Manage passkey link to go directly to the passkey management page. Otherwise, go to the account or security settings for the website or app.
Important: Make sure to finish this step before you delete the passkey in Dashlane.
Step 2: Delete the passkey in your Dashlane vault
- Go to the Dashlane app and open the passkey you want to delete.
- Select Edit.
- Select the Delete icon, which looks like a trash can.
- Confirm by selecting Yes in the pop-up.

Passkeys are stored in your Logins list. You can identify them by the passkey icon, which looks like a person with a key.
From the Logins section, select the passkey you want to edit and then select the pencil icon. You can change the Item name to choose how the passkey is labeled in your vault or add important information in the Notes.
Select the checkmark to save your changes.

Delete a passkey in the Android app
Step 1: Deactivate the passkey
Go to the website or app for the passkey and delete or deactivate it. This process depends on the site or app you're using. Usually, you'll find the passkey in your account or security settings.
Important: Make sure to finish this step before you delete the passkey in Dashlane.
Step 2: Delete the passkey in your Dashlane vault
- Go to the Dashlane app and open the passkey you want to delete.
- Select the pencil icon.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm by selecting Delete again in the pop-up.
