With biometric unlock, you can open Dashlane on Windows with your face, fingerprint, security key, or PIN code, and on Mac with Touch ID or a security key. The PIN code you use for biometric unlock on Windows is your device's PIN code. You need to install the Dashlane extension in your browser to use biometric unlock.

Having trouble using biometric unlock?
Biometric unlock improves the way passkeys work in Dashlane on websites that require an extra user verification step when you log in with a passkey. In this situation, you can use biometric unlock instead of your Master Password during the user verification step.
