Learn more about phishing alerts
AI Phishing Alerts are part of the enterprise-wide approach to credential security that we've embedded in the Dashlane Omnix platform. Admins can turn on AI Phishing Alerts for everyone in their organization, even employees who aren't using Dashlane.
Set up AI Phishing Alerts
Step 1: Credential Protection deployment
You can only turn on AI Phishing Alerts if you've deployed the Dashlane browser extension and the Credential Protection policy to all members of your organization.

Step 2: Turn on AI Phishing Alerts
- Open the Admin Console
- In the Security Tools section of the sidebar menu, select Phishing Alerts.
- Select Settings.
-
Turn on the AI Phishing Alerts option.
-
After turning on the alerts, you can preview the messages that members receive by selecting Preview.
-
As you have deployed the Dashlane browser extension, you can add your company logo and a support contact to the alerts, so users know who to reach out to if they have questions about the phishing alert.
You can also let your team know they may start getting phishing alerts. That way, they'll know to trust the alert and take action. On the Settings page of the Phishing alerts tab, you can copy a template message from the info box on the right.

Custom rules for phishing alerts
If you've deployed the Dashlane browser extension, you can use Custom rules to hide Vault phishing alerts and AI Phishing Alerts from trusted domains, and for all your organization's employees. This feature allows you to add trusted websites to avoid false positives, improving phishing alert accuracy.

Tip: If you're using Credential Protection and don't see Custom rules in the Admin Console, please log out and log back in to Dashlane.
To create a Custom rule:
- Open the Admin Console
-
Select Policies scroll down to the Security section and select Custom rules. You can also select Phishing Alerts and then Settings and Create a rule.
-
Select Create a rule.
- Enter the domains you trust, and separate domains with a semi-colon.
- You can select Hide vault phishing alerts or Hide AI Phishing Alerts or both based on the type of alert you want the rule to apply to.
-
You can then name the rule, give it a description and select Save new rule.
In the Custom Rules menu you'll be able to see all the rules you've created.
Each rule entry will include the rule name, the type of alerts it applies to, and the number of domains it covers.
From this menu, you can add new rules by selecting Create a rule or edit existing ones by clicking the pencil icon.
Tip: After a rule is created, it will be reflected in the Custom rules menu instantly, but it may take up to 60 minutes to take effect on employees' extensions.
