When you import a CSV file and assign some items to an existing shared Collection, Dashlane creates a new, non-shared Collection with those items instead of adding them to the shared one.

This is expected behavior and is in place as a security measure to avoid unintentionally sharing sensitive items with other members.

Workaround:

1. After the import, go to the web app and open the original shared Collection.
2. Select Add items to the collection.
3. Select the items that were imported that you want to be part of this shared Collection.
4. After the correct items are added, you can delete the duplicate, non-shared Collection.

Step 1: On the import page, the items are assigned to the EMEA Collections, which are shared.

Step 2: Completed import and the duplicated Collection with the same name.
