What to do when you experience a phishing attack

If you entered your login details on a phishing website, change the password for that login immediately. When changing your password, use a different device from the one on which the attack happened.
If you've used the same password on other websites, make sure to change it there as well. When changing your password, use Dashlane to generate a strong password or passphrase.
- If the phishing attack involved your credit card number or other payment information, contact your financial institution.
- If the phishing attack happened on a work device, contact your organization's IT department so they can protect other employees.
