With Credential Exchange, you now have a secure, simple way to move your vault.
You can move passwords, passkeys, verification codes, and other item types between Dashlane and other participating password managers or third-party apps that support Credential Exchange. Currently, participating password managers for iOS include Apple Passwords, 1Password, and Bitwarden. On Android devices, 1Password is the only participating password manager. The feature is part of a broader industry push for open standards, giving you more control and flexibility.
Before, you needed to use an unencrypted CSV file to move data between password managers, where the data is visible to anyone who accesses the file. Credential Exchange provides a standardized, secure transfer, keeping your data protected throughout the entire process.
Before you start, check that your Dashlane app is updated to the latest version.
