Dashlane no longer sells Premium Plus or Premium Plus Family plans. If you already have Premium Plus or Premium Plus Family, you can keep your current plan.
Dashlane Premium Plus builds on our Premium plan, adding a layer of protection against identity theft.
What is identity theft?
Identity theft is when someone uses your personal information to commit fraud. For example, this person might use your social security number to get a new credit card, qualify for a loan, or avoid criminal punishment. Or they might steal your bank card information to buy things or transfer money to themselves. Often the victim doesn't realize at first that someone has stolen their identity.
Premium Plus-only features
These features are no longer available with new Dashlane plans. You have these features only if you bought Premium Plus or Premium Plus Family before we discontinued these plans.
Premium Plus includes several tools for preventing identity theft.
Credit monitoring through TransUnion
This feature is no longer available with new Dashlane plans. You have this feature only if you bought Premium Plus or Premium Plus Family before we discontinued these plans.
Premium Plus comes with credit monitoring through TransUnion. If you're a Premium Plus customer based in the United States, you receive automatic alerts when something happens that affects your credit score. You can also view your credit score and credit history.
Set up credit monitoring
Premium Plus customers need to sign up with TransUnion. In the Dashlane app, select the Premium Plus tab in the Tools section of the web app. Select Check my credit score to sign up with TransUnion and access your CreditView Dashboard.
You'll need to provide the following information:
- Your full name and date of birth
- Your address
- A username
- A password unique to TransUnion
- A secret question and answer
- The last four digits of your Social Security number
You'll also need to answer security questions to verify your identity.
Your CreditView Dashboard
After you activate credit monitoring with TransUnion, you can view your credit score and credit history in your CreditView Dashboard. You can also see how you're doing compared to other Americans. And you can use a credit score simulator to test actions that can change your credit score.
You'll also receive email alerts from your CreditView Dashboard when important changes appear on your credit report.
Your CreditView Dashboard includes these sections:
TransUnion Credit Score: Your dashboard shows your credit score here. This number is a combined score, called VantageScore 3.0, from the three U.S. national credit bureaus. Your score can range from 300 to 850. You also get a letter grade from A to F based on your score.
My Score History: This section shows how your score has changed over the past year. The score history begins with your first login if you have had your TransUnion account for less than 12 months. You can see a dot with a date and score for each time you or someone else checked your credit.
Where You Stand: Here, you can see the credit ranges that each letter score corresponds to. The percentiles next to the ranges give you an idea of how other Americans using TransUnion are doing.
My Credit Overview: This section sums up important information about your credit. See how much you currently owe, your total available credit, and the number of credit inquiries made on your account in the past two years.
Score Simulator: This tool predicts how different events can affect your credit. For example, you can see how a new credit card or a missed payment can change your credit.
TransUnion credit alerts
As part of credit monitoring with TransUnion, you'll receive alerts when any of these items appear on your credit report:
- A new credit inquiry
- A new bank or credit card account in your name
- A new home address
- A new employer
- Improvements to your credit
- Negative information, like late credit card payments, bankruptcy, or fraud alerts
- Public information relating to legal matters
