To switch to an account protected by a PIN or a security key from an account protected by a Master Password, you need to export your Dashlane data, reset and recreate your account, then import your data back into the new account.
If you want to switch to an account protected by a security key, you need to use an email address that's never been associated with a Dashlane account to create your new account.
If you have a professional plan, you can't change to a passwordless account at this time. You can create a new passwordless account using a different email address than the one you use with your professional plan and import your data to that account.
- Export your data to a secure DASH file
-
Warning! Resetting your account will erase all data associated with your account. If you don't export first, you'll lose any logins or other data saved in your account.
-
Create your account.
