Using Dashlane on your computer works best when you download the Dashlane extension. An extension—also called a plug-in—is a small program that adds features to your browser. We recommend pinning the extension to your browser toolbar to find it easily.
Note: You can use the extension in most browsers on your computer but not on mobile devices. The browser DuckDuckGo doesn't currently support extensions. So you can't use the Dashlane extension with DuckDuckGo. If you want to use Dashlane on a phone or tablet, install the Dashlane mobile app.

To use Dashlane, you need a recent version of your computer or browser so that you can make the most of our apps and keep your data secure. The term "minimum requirements" refers to the earliest version of each device and browser that you can use with our apps.
