Log out of Dashlane

You can log out of Dashlane anytime on your Android or iPhone mobile device or in your computer browser. In the Dashlane macOS app, logging out works differently than in other browsers.

Warning! If you have a passwordless Dashlane account, avoid logging out of all your devices at the same time. Stay logged in to at least one device, or you might get locked out of your account. If you log out of all your devices with a passwordless account, the only way to get back into your account is the account recovery key you created when setting up your account.

Lock Dashlane instead of logging out

You can lock the Dashlane app anytime by selecting Lock or Lock app, depending on the device you're using. On mobile, you can also set up the app to lock automatically. While your app is locked, you can't access your data. We'll also stop autofilling your information until you unlock the app.

Log out of Dashlane in your computer browser

In the web app, select the My account menu and select Log out.

You can also log out through the Dashlane extension when you select the Dashlane D in your browser toolbar. Then select More and Log out.

If you have an orange Dashlane D, you're already logged out. If you don't see the Dashlane D, you might need to install the extension or pin it to your toolbar.

Log out of the Dashlane macOS app

From the main menu, select Settings, shown as a gear icon. The macOS app doesn't have a My account menu.
Select Security.
Select Log out from this device.
