The Hotspot Shield VPN comes with Dashlane Premium and for managers of Friends & Family plans but not with free trials of these plans.

If your plan comes with the Hotspot Shield VPN, and you're having problems setting up your account or logging in, the steps in this article can fix most problems.

1. Open your Dashlane app, and search for "Hotspot Shield" or "Aura" in the search bar at the top of the mobile app or the top left of the web app.
2. If you find a login for Hotspot Shield, change the Item name field to "hotspotshield.com". Make sure that the Website field reads "https://dashlane.hotspotshield.com".
3. If no results come up when you search for Hotspot Shield, reset your Hotspot password.
