Manage billing for your professional plan
Your options for changing your Dashlane personal plan depend on what plan you currently have. You can check what plan you have in the Dashlane web app. In the Vault menu in the top left of the app, select Subscription to see your current plan.

*Dashlane no longer offers or sells Free, Advanced, Essentials, and Premium Plus plans. We're simplifying our plans to focus on the features shared by all our customers. If you already have Premium Plus, you can keep the plan as long as automatic renewal is enabled and your payment method is updated.

You can upgrade your Dashlane personal plan at any time. When you upgrade, you keep any data you've saved in your Dashlane account. You may also be eligible for a discount or partial refund, depending on where you purchased your current subscription and where you plan to upgrade.
Upgrade your subscription on our website
Cancel your current subscription. You'll keep any data you've already saved in Dashlane. Then sign up for the Dashlane plan you want. When signing up, use the same email address you used for your current subscription. That way, you might receive a discount on your new subscription.

Get a discount on your new subscription
When you upgrade on the Dashlane website before your current billing period ends, you can get a discount on your new subscription. This discount is prorated, which means the amount depends on how much time you have left in your current billing period.
Example of a discount when you upgrade on our website:
You have a yearly subscription to Dashlane Premium that you bought for $60. You have four months left before your renewal date, and you buy a yearly Friends & Family subscription. We give you a discount of $20—the cost of your remaining four months of Premium at $5 per month.
Upgrade your subscription in Google Play
Go to the Dashlane Android app and select Upgrade in the side menu. Choose the plan you want, and you'll check out through the Google Play Store.
Important: You can only get a refund in Google Play if you bought your current subscription in the same app store. If you bought your subscription on the Dashlane website, upgrade on the website to get a discount on your new subscription.
Get a partial refund on your old subscription
If you bought your current subscription in the Google Play Store, you can upgrade before your renewal date and get a refund on your old subscription. When you upgrade in Google Play, you'll receive an automatic refund for the remaining time in your billing period.
Example of a refund when you upgrade in Google Play:
You have a yearly subscription to Dashlane Premium that you bought for $60. You have four months left before your renewal date, and you buy a yearly Friends & Family subscription. We give you a $20 refund for the remaining time of your Premium subscription.
Upgrade your subscription from the Apple App Store
Go to the Dashlane iPhone app and select See plan options in the Settings menu. Choose the plan you want, and you'll check out through the Apple App Store.
Important: You can only get a refund in Apple App Store if you bought your current subscription in the same app store. If you bought your subscription on the Dashlane website, upgrade on the website to get a discount on your new subscription.
Get a partial refund on your old subscription
If you bought your current subscription in the Apple App Store, you can upgrade before your renewal date and get a refund on your old subscription. When you upgrade in the App Store, you'll receive an automatic refund for the remaining time in your billing period.
Example of a refund when you upgrade in the App Store:
You have a yearly subscription to Dashlane Premium that you bought for $60. You have four months left before your renewal date, and you buy a yearly Friends & Family subscription. We give you a $20 refund for the remaining time of your Premium subscription.
Downgrade your subscription

You can downgrade your Dashlane personal plan when your current subscription ends.
When your current subscription ends, you can continue to log in, but your passwords will remain accessible for export only. You can't add, edit, copy, or view your passwords in Dashlane. You can purchase a paid plan or export your passwords to a CSV file. If you want to downgrade from Friends & Family to Premium, or purchase Premium again, you can do so on our website at the end of your current subscription.
To downgrade, cancel your current subscription. You'll keep the benefits of this subscription until the end of your billing period. You'll also keep any data you've already saved in Dashlane. When your current subscription ends, sign up for the plan you want.

Important: To avoid paying for two subscriptions at once, wait until the end of your current billing period before buying a new subscription.
