You can use biometrics—Face ID or Touch ID—to open the Dashlane app on your Apple devices when available. You can also use a PIN of 4 or 6 digits to unlock our app—alone or as a backup for Face ID or Touch ID. With these settings, you can quickly and securely unlock the app without entering your Master Password.
If you have an account protected by a Master Password, Dashlane still asks you to enter your Master Password after restarting your device or logging out manually. You'll also need to enter your Master Password when you change some settings or change your Master Password.
