Phishing alerts are messages that Dashlane sends when you visit or autofill login info on a risky site or app. In addition to keeping your passwords and your data safe, Dashlane works to warn you when you might be in danger of getting phished.
What phishing alerts does Dashlane offer?
Important: All Dashlane phishing alerts follow our zero-knowledge principle. We identify risky websites or apps without ever having access to your passwords or other data stored in your Dashlane account.

I received a phishing alert when visiting a website
If you're a member of the Omnix plan and your organization has set up AI phishing alerts, Dashlane warns you whenever you visit a website that our AI phishing-detection model has identified as risky.
Dashlane’s AI phishing alerts use AI technology to detect suspicious sites and send you alerts the moment you visit one—even if you’re not logged into Dashlane.
These alerts are sent only to members of organizations participating in the Omnix plan that have set up AI phishing alerts.

I received a phishing alert when pasting or autofilling a password
When you're pasting or autofilling a password in Dashlane, you might get a phishing alert depending on your plan.
All customers using the Dashlane Android app get an alert when trying to autofill login info on a new app that looks potentially risky. If you're part of a Dashlane Premium, Friends & Family, Team, Business, or Omnix plan, you'll get alerts in these situations as well:
- When you paste login info in your Chrome, Firefox, or Edge computer browser on a site that isn't saved for that login in Dashlane.
- When you try to autofill login info on Android, iPhone, or iPad on a site or in an app that isn't saved for that login in Dashlane.

I received a phishing alert on the Dashlane site
All Dashlane customers, including Dashlane Free users, get a phishing alert when they visit a fake website designed to look like the Dashlane site. This phishing alert only works after you install the Dashlane Smart Extension in your browser and log in at least once.
